SpawGlass

Having pioneered research and academic projects with Texas A&M University, SpawGlass has served as an industry leader in BIM technology. BIM implementation has augmented the entire team’s capabilities in deriving design, visualization and system coordination. With proven expertise and results in utilizing the technology for coordination we have delved deeper into the areas of cost estimation, quantification, close-out models and the FM packages. BIM enables us to provide an interlinked and data-rich close out model, which is delivered to the owner at the end of the project in a user friendly operate and maintain interface.

IKERD Consulting We are nationally recognized leaders in engineering consulting and A E C O technology consulting. We have noted experience with integrated projects using Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) with Building Information Modeling with an impressive breadth of industry disciplines. Our services include engineering and construction grade modeling of trade content.  Members of our team chair the Designers Subforum of the national AGC BIM Forum, and chair the Structural Engineering Institutes National BIM Committee. We look forward to meeting you at the BIM Texas Alliance Conference 2012!

Trimble Trimble's Building Construction Division is a leading innovator of productivity solutions for the building construction contractor. Trimble's solutions target general, concrete, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contractors on large and small commercial, industrial and residential jobsites. Trimble is focused on delivering solutions that tightly link office based process and information with the field crew—including taking Building Information Modeling (BIM) and other design data to the field for highly accurate positioning and layout of foundations and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Trimble solutions provide a high-level of process and workflow integration from the design phase through to the finished project—delivering significant improvements in productivity throughout the building construction lifecycle.

HOAR Construction Hoar Construction believes BIM is better building science, pervasive throughout our company. Hoar is leading the industry by leveraging the collaborative BIM benefits, Owner deliverables and successes. Let’s build something better.

Haynes Whaley Associates

Founded in Houston in 1976, and with offices in Reston, Virginia and Austin, Texas, Haynes Whaley Associates focuses solely on structural engineering services for a broad range of commercial, public, and institutional projects. We work nationally and internationally, with projects in 40 states, the District of Columbia, Africa, the Caribbean, Malaysia and Singapore. Haynes Whaley’s primary objective is to accomplish the design goals while maintaining budget and schedule requirements. We utilize BIM to collaborate with other disciplines and trades, modeling the structure early in the project for more effective and thorough coordination, and to increase the accuracy of contractor cost estimates and bids.

Joeris General Contractors

As an advocate of "collaborative" BIM, Joeris implements BIM processes during all phases of construction. By collaborating with A/E/C/O, we develop a strong BIM execution plan and perform BIM activities such as 3D model creation, clash detection, 4D scheduling and model based cost estimation during pre-construction. During construction, we utilize the model at job sites for quality control and prefabrication assistance, reducing the number of RFI's. During closeout, we link submittals to the model or develop COBIE for facilities management. The goal is to improve efficiencies within the overall construction timeline, positively affect budgets and provide added value to the owner.

Bartlett Cocke General Contractors Throughout its existence, Bartlett Cocke General Contractors has utilized innovative design & construction processes to ensure our clients are provided the highest quality facilities delivered on-time and within budget. In 2007, our firm supplemented this experience with the implementation of BIM technology. We have completed more than 20 BIM projects totaling over $600 million and 2.5 million GSF. Our experience has enabled us to fine-tune our BIM capabilities from conceptual cost modeling & quantity takeoff, to design & trade coordination and handover to FM. From project inception, our BIM, Preconstruction, Estimating and Operations departments work hand-in-hand with the entire project team to promote a collaborative environment, engage in proactive project planning, and maximize value for our clients.

IMAGINiT IMAGINiT Technologies, a Rand Worldwide Company, is the world’s largest provider of enterprise solutions to the engineering community. IMAGINiT is the largest provider of Autodesk software solutions and the largest North American Autodesk Authorized Training Center (ATC) partner. IMAGINiT works with DLT Solutions to provide state, local and federal government clients with the technology solutions and expertise needed to meet the challenges of the public sector. We offer comprehensive professional services to help you successfully implement your software, tightly integrate it into your operations and optimize your end-to-end design processes. We help you work smarter, not harder.

Turner Construction Turner has maintained a national presence performing Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) since 2002, and was recently ranked #8 out of the Top 170 BIM Adopters in Building Design & Construction, one of only two contractors who made the top 50 on the list. It is standard operating procedure to implement VDC/BIM on all our projects, and to date we have completed over 550 projects using the technology, worth over $57.5 billion in volume. When combined with our LEAN construction practices, the result is a clean, safe, efficient, and cost-effective project.

Austin Commercial Austin brings a vast expertise in Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) experience to your project with a dedicated BIM/VDC staff and BIM enabled field personnel. We analyze each project to determine its constraints and then customize a BIM/VDC solution specifically for THAT project. Our 20+ years of BIM/VDC experience has taught that what makes sense for one project might not make sense for the next. We offer a variety of BIM/VDC services that seamlessly integrate with our construction process.
